Whether it was on Saturday Night Live, Late Night, or currently on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon has always used music as a medium for his comedy. His music sensibilities, coupled with his legendary house band The Roots, have made his version of late night TV the most musically driven in history, paving the way for others like James Corden’s The Late Late Show. So, given the context, it’s not particularly surprising that Fallon just released a Christmas single alongside Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion. Especially since he’s done it twice before — Drunk on Christmas in 2009 and Wonderful Christmastime in 2017.
