Elton John, now 77, has revealed that he's lost his eyesight following complications from an eye infection. The legendary singer is now completely blind in one eye and partially blind in the other. As a result, he’s been unable to see his Broadway production, Tammy Faye. Perhaps, it's a small mercy—Tammy Faye was a commercial flop, closing after just 29 performances, with its run ending after yesterday’s final show.

Yesterday marked the fifth anniversary of Juice WRLD’s passing. He died of a drug overdose less than a week after his 21st birthday. Despite his short career, Juice set the direction for much of modern hip-hop. In the past, we’ve likened his impact in such a brief span to that of Buddy Holly and Jimi Hendrix. Between his breakout single “Lucid Dreams” in May 2018 and his untimely death in December 2019—a span of just 18 months—Juice ushered in a wave of emo rappers who embraced punk sounds and raw, unfiltered emotion in their music.
