If you were born after 1998, Addison Rae likely needs no introduction. But for everyone else, this 24-year-old LSU dropout rose to fame alongside TikTok’s own rise in 2019. She became famous for viral dance videos and was soon the platform’s highest earner, making $5 million between June 2019 and June 2020 (now she reportedly earns ~$142,000 per TikTok). Her fame then reached the mainstream as she began appearing on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and went viral for an unfortunate TV appearance where she awkwardly taught TikTok dances to Jimmy Fallon—an incident which has since been scrubbed from Fallon’s channel.
