Green Day is marking the 30th anniversary of Dookie in the most absurd way possible with Dookie Demastered, a lineup of nostalgic ‘90s gadgets, each playing a lo-fi rendition of one of the album’s 15 tracks. For example, Teddy Ruxpin takes on “Chump,” while Big Mouth Billy Bass delivers “Basket Case.” Convenient? Not a chance. High-quality sound? Absolutely not. Novel? Most definitely.
