Yesterday, for no apparent reason, Mick Jagger started beef with Harry Styles. Perhaps Jagger was tired of the endless comparisons between the two. Just last week, Rolling Stone, the magazine, not Jagger’s band, declared Styles the “Mick Jagger for our more enlightened age.” Jagger responded in The Sunday Times by saying, “He doesn’t have a voice like mine or move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self.” Jagger went on to say that Styles, known for his gender-fluid fashion, is also less androgynous than he was.
